Process Improvement

We begin by working with stakeholders and relevant team leaders to create a plan that will outline the steps to achieving measurable results.  This plan is important as it engages all team members in the change and makes them aware of the goals of the project, their responsibilities, and the timelines of the project.

The objective is to improve the performance of processes within an organization, seeking more efficient workflows, fewer bottlenecks and inefficiencies and overall business growth.  For optimization, we may automate or outsource repetitive procedures.  The goal is to cut costs, enhance output, reduce errors, and improve the quality of product or services, and strengthen customer satisfaction.

Steps in Process Improvement?

Process Mapping

  • Map each step in a process

Analyze the current process

  • Look for delays in the process, bottlenecks, utilization of existing resources, assess costs to making change, anticipate errors, automate where possible

Redesign the process

  • Make changes to improve effectiveness where possible

Test the process

  • Business Process Simulation is the process of testing a new process in a real-world scenario without disrupting daily business operations

Communicate changes

  • Inform members of the organization of the upcoming changes to the process, explain the benefits and obtain their backing

Implement the new process

  • Time to execute the process into everyday operations. Reinforce the positive impact and value to the business

Monitor results and optimize

  • Measure impact on the business and obtain feedback from team members and customers

Create process documentation

  • Capture all steps in a particular task in real time and document in detail. This will automate a process, reduce confusion upon staff turnover and enforce consistency in product or service output

Remember, process improvement is ongoing.  As business changes and as new technologies emerge, every organization should work to maintain a competitive advantage.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”20px” image_repeat=”no-repeat”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”grid” oblique_section=”no” text_align=”left” css_animation=”” el_class=”c-form”][vc_column][vc_column_text el_class=”contact-boxed”]
